About AFS - The AFS Mission

AFS-USA works toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership.

AFS is an international, non-profit organization that provides thousands of American high school students the opportunity to live and study in a foreign country. In addition to provding American families with the opportunity to host a high school age "son" or "daughter" from another country, AFS also provides opportunities for teacher exchanges and for 18+ exchange programs.
